The build

Small buildings are usually where fabric quality is abandoned — a thin stud wall, a plug-in heater, and a room that is unusable in February. A straw-panel studio is the same wall as the main house, so it holds its temperature the same way.

At this size the whole shell is a handful of panels. It goes up in a day, and with a modest rooftop array it runs without drawing anything from the house.
