The build
Some people want to finish their own house. The Shell package draws the line at the point where mistakes get expensive: the structure is engineered, the panels are erected, and the four control layers — rain, air, vapour, thermal — are all handled and signed off.
The roof is left ready for photovoltaics. Everything inboard of the render is the owner's.
